PhD students based in CITIID will have access to a wide range of scientific facilities, as well as general and specialist courses on a range of topics such as IT, presentation skills, writing and management, careers in science and how to obtain fellowships. Our graduate students are encouraged to present their work at local, national and international meetings. As well as this, they will have the opportunity to present at the Annual Department of Medicine Research Day.
Graduate students can also attend a wide range of training courses provided by the University Graduate School of Life Sciences. The University of Cambridge Careers Service, is also available, offering offers courses on writing CVs, interview skills and assistance with career choices
